I often see that people are overwhelmed by menu planning and shopping for ingredients especially when creating new eating habits. The truth is that there is a limited amount of types of food like vegetables, fruit, meat, dairy, grains etc and we put mostly the same things in our baskets when doing our weekly shopping.
An example is online shopping. Have you noticed that when you do your shopping regularly the system already knows your patterns and will put your favourite items in front of your search to make it easier?
When we do the shopping in a store we can do the same by creating a shopping list with ingredients we use weekly.
Why make a shopping list?
🛒You avoid forgetting to buy that one ingredient you run out
🛒You most likely stick to your list
🛒It's quicker
I created a PDF shopping Meal Planner & Shopping list tool which you can download for free here.
The Shopping list is designed to be organised according to main food groups to make it easier for you to get all ingredients from the food group in one place. It works for any shop as they use the same layout.
